Silicon Aluminum Calcium

Silicon-aluminum-calcium is an iron alloy product, often used as a deoxidizer. It has the following characteristics and functions:  Deoxidizing effect: Silicon-aluminum-calcium has multiple deoxidizing elements, with a low melting point and fast diffusion, and the deoxidizing effect is obvious. It can effectively prevent the oxidation of metal elements and improve the metal recovery rate.

Desulfurizing effect: The calcium element in it can have a good desulfurizing effect and can adsorb inclusions in the steel, making them easy to float and be removed, thereby purifying the molten steel, improving the fluidity of the molten steel, and preventing nozzle clogging.

Replacing other metallurgical materials: It can replace metallurgical materials such as aluminum wire, silicon-calcium, and silicon-aluminum. For example, silicon-aluminum-calcium alloy can replace 20% of aluminum wire and 30% of silicon-calcium wire as the final deoxidizer and alloying agent, reducing the steelmaking cost to a certain extent.

During the smelting process, 1-1.5 kg of alloy and 9-12 Kwh of electricity consumption can be saved per ton of steel, and the comprehensive cost can be saved by 5-8 yuan per ton of steel.

Customizability: During the production process, it can be made into different forms such as silicon-aluminum-calcium balls, silicon-aluminum-calcium grains, and silicon-aluminum-calcium powder according to the requirements of the manufacturer, reducing pollution, facilitating smelting absorption, and improving the operating environment. 

Good stability: It does not absorb moisture, does not pulverize, and is easy to store. The specific component content of silicon-aluminum-calcium may vary, generally containing 10%-40% of silicon, 5%-20% of aluminum, and 5%-20% of calcium. Its price is relatively low among iron alloy materials. It is suitable for smelting methods such as electric furnaces, converters, and medium-frequency furnaces, and can be used to smelt various steel grades, such as HRB235, HRB335, HRB400, etc.
