This Silicon Carbon Ball is produced at high temperature in a resistance furnace using quartz sand and petroleum coke as the main raw materials. Its hardness is between fused alumina and artificial diamond, and it has a certain degree of electrical and thermal conductivity. It can process scrap steel and scrap iron efficiently, is one of the most important deoxidizer materials in steelmaking.
