1. Before installation, check the type and specification of the expansion joint of the bellows compensator and the configuration of the support of the pipeline must meet the design requirements.


2. For the expansion joint with inner liner, attention should be paid to make the direction of the inner liner consistent with the flow direction of the medium (installed according to the flow direction sign of the expansion joint). The hinge rotation screen of the plane angular expansion joint should be consistent with the displacement plane.


3. For expansion joints that need to be "cold tight", the auxiliary components used for pre-deformation should be removed after the expansion joint is pre-deformed.


4. After the installation of the piping system, the auxiliary positioning mechanism and fasteners used for installation and transportation protection on the expansion joint should be removed immediately, and the limiting device should be adjusted to the specified position according to the design requirements, so that the piping system can be fully protected in the environmental conditions. compensate.


5. In addition to the pre-tensioning or "cold-tightening" pre-deformation required by the design, it is strictly forbidden to use the method of bellows deformation to adjust the installation deviation of the pipeline, so as not to affect the normal function of the expansion joint, otherwise it will reduce its service life and increase the piping system. , load of equipment and supporting members.


6. All movable elements of the expansion joint shall not be stuck by external components or restrict the normal movement of their movable parts.


7. During the installation process, the welding slag is not allowed to splash on the surface of the small bellows and cause other mechanical damages to the bellows.


8. For the expansion joint used for gas medium and its connecting pipeline, when performing the hydraulic test, it is necessary to consider whether it is necessary to add a temporary support to the connecting pipe of the expansion joint to bear the load when filling with water.


9. The water used in the hydrostatic test must be pure and non-corrosive, and the chloride ion content in the water must not exceed 25ppm. After the hydrostatic test, the water in the bellows should be drained as soon as possible, and the inner surface of the corrugated shell should be blown dry quickly.


10. The neutrality of the pipeline is better. If there is no other way to ensure it, it can be ensured by cutting the pipeline of equal length after laying the straight pipe and then installing the expansion joint.


11. It should be noted that the expansion joint does not absorb torque, so when installing the expansion joint, the expansion joint is not allowed to be twisted.


12. All movable elements of the expansion joint shall not be stuck by external components or restrict the normal operation of their movable parts.


13. The thermal insulation layer should be done on the outer protective sleeve of the expansion joint, not directly on the corrugated pipe. Chlorine-containing insulation materials shall not be used.


14. During the installation process, the welding slag is not allowed to splash on the surface of the bellows and cause other mechanical damage to the bellows.


15. The bracket must meet the design requirements. It is strictly forbidden to test the pressure in the pipeline before the bracket is installed, so as to avoid the expansion joint being damaged.


16. The expansion joint is allowed not to exceed 1.5 times the nominal system pressure test.


17. During the operation of the pipeline equipped with expansion joints, the opening and closing of the valve should be carried out gradually, so as to avoid sudden changes in the temperature and pressure in the pipeline, resulting in damage to the bracket or expansion joint.
