In the second quarter of 2026, the global ferroalloy industry entered a new phase of high-quality development, with low-carbon compliance and customized demand becoming the core drivers of industry upgrading. Moving away from extensive production and focusing on precise customization has become the industry consensus.
In terms of low-carbon initiatives, the full implementation of the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) has prompted the industry to strengthen carbon management, with compliance documentation becoming essential for exports. Customization, meanwhile, focuses on downstream application segments, as different processes impose increasingly stringent requirements on the particle size and purity of ferroalloy products.

I. As a highly efficient composite ferroalloy, silicon-barium-calcium
leverages its integrated desulfurization and deoxidation capabilities to
become a core auxiliary material for high-end casting and alloy steel
smelting. Its compositional stability directly impacts the cleanliness and
toughness of steel, aligning with current demands for high-end
manufacturing upgrades.
II. Heavy-medium ferrosilicon powder is categorized by processing
method into atomized and ground types. The atomized type features
uniform particles and excellent flowability, making it suitable for
precision casting and powder metallurgy; while the ground type offers
high purity and is primarily used in heavy-medium mineral processing
applications. Both types support customized particle size specifications
to meet the needs of industry-specific segments.
